  Classroom Blog February 19, 2021 HELP NEEDED:  I have a storage container that needs some new shelves if anyone is willing to help. Biography : 1) Students are starting their biography projects.   Classroom Blog February 11, 2021 Please Work On At Home : 1) Students are starting their biography projects. They have to read and take notes in their writing notebooks.   2) We are starting Perimeter and Area. Lots of practice will be needed to secure these skills. Please work on IXL DD 3) Please encourage your child to challenge themselves in their book choices. This might mean choosing a longer book or a book with higher vocabulary.  4) Take some time to encourage neat handwriting. Reminder:  Please take your child’s temperature in the morning for health screening. Exciting Activities in Class: We made mini pinball machines (Tinker Crate) today to start our force and motion unit in science. Next week we will be starting a class project, building a Gravitrex Set.   This Week Monday: We had a great time doing a Dash Robot challenge. We used our Positivity Project words to answer questions then we completed a Dash programming challenge. I posted a few pictures on Facebook for you to see. Tuesday: Today we are going to cut out the kindness cards we made for eachother and put them in the bags we decorated.  We will put any Valentine’s Day treats you send into the bags. The bags will go home Thursday. Wednesday: Today we are going to enjoy Red Coach donuts and work on some descriptive writing.  Thursday: We are performing our reader’s theatre and the videos will be in the next blog for you to watch.
