  Classroom Blog April 30, 2021   Word Study:  No Word Study this week Testing: We will be doing NWEA testing Tuesday and Wednesday next week. Please make sure your student has a snack. Multiplication Practice- Please make sure your student is practicing their multiplication facts at least a few times a week.  Math : We are currently working on two step word problems and logic problems.   Classroom Blog April 26, 2021   Word Study:  our focus this week is on common misspelled words ( There was no sheet sent home. The words are on Spelling City) Writing This week we are focusing on writing our own version of a fairytale. These will be due Thursday . Multiplication Practice- Please make sure your student is practicing their multiplication facts at least a few times a week.  Math : We are finishing our work on geometry and moving back to more in depth multiplication and division work.   Classroom Blog April 18, 2021   Word Study:  our focus this week is on suffix -tion Writing This week we are focusing on writing two pieces with HOPE being our focus. I would love it if you could take some time to talk with them about their hopes over the last year. What hopes have become reality and what hopes are they still working towards seeing become reality.  Multiplication Practice- Please make sure your student is practicing their multiplication facts at least a few times a week.  Math :  We will take our first geometry test on Monday.  Please continue to work on the flashcards.  Science We will continue our unit on Stormy Skies. Students are all at different levels of completion Multiplication Practice- Please make sure your student is practicing their multiplication facts at least a few times a week. They can do this with flashcards (they could even create their own on index cards!) or they could work on IXL: G for 10 mins 4 times a week. If you need index cards or supplies for flashcards, let me know and I can send them home.
