Homework

  •  read for 20 minutes each night. Half of the reading time should be out loud. 

  • A homework slip will go home Monday

Social Studies

We are reading Trader’s In Time and learning about the different groups of Native Americans that lived in our part of Michigan.

  • I am encouraging students to do a two page recording of their reading on the My Guided Readers website. The link is in Google Classroom.


Writing

Students will be  working on writing a three paragraph essay about Thanksgiving over the next few weeks. The assignment will be on Google Classroom.


Math

We will finish our study of elapsed time on Monday with our unit test. We will be starting multiplication on Tuesday.

They can do this with flashcards (they could even create their own on index cards!) or they could work on IXL: G for 10 mins 4 times a week. If you need index cards or supplies for flashcards, let me know and I can send them home. Students will need to pick a poem to present. They can either do a recording and put it in Google Drive or do it Friday at school.  I am encouraging students to do a two page recording of their reading on the My Guided Readers website.
