Word Study:  our focus this week is on suffix -tion


Writing

This week we are focusing on writing two pieces with HOPE being our focus. I would love it if you could take some time to talk with them about their hopes over the last year. What hopes have become reality and what hopes are they still working towards seeing become reality. 

Multiplication Practice- Please make sure your student is practicing their multiplication facts at least a few times a week. 


Math:  We will take our first geometry test on Monday.  Please continue to work on the flashcards. 


Science We will continue our unit on Stormy Skies.



Reminder:  Please take your child’s temperature in the morning for health screening.

If you need index cards or supplies for flashcards, let me know and I can send them home. Students will need to pick a poem to present. They can either do a recording and put it in Google Drive or do it Friday at school.  I am encouraging students to do a two page recording of their reading on the My Guided Readers website. The link is in Google Classroom.   Classroom Blog April 30, 2021   Word Study:  No Word Study this week Testing: We will be doing NWEA testing Tuesday and Wednesday next week. Please make sure your student has a snack. Multiplication Practice- Please make sure your student is practicing their multiplication facts at least a few times a week.  Math : We are currently working on two step word problems and logic problems.
